In the UK a 14-Day cooling off period applies where you have the right to cancel most online, phone, or mail order purchases of goods and services.

With this in mind I’d like to cancel my subscription to 2026, and revert to an earlier version. I hoped the new version would come with improvements over 2025, but the same problems seem to exist and the price of the optional extras have just gone up.

I think you will find I am still within the 14 day window, thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I have a rather mundane question, but I can’t seem to find a clear answer online. Suppose I’m cycling or running in the UK and I accidentally knock someone over, causing them injury or disability. What type of insurance would cover my liability in such a case?

In some other European countries, home insurance covers civil liability, but this doesn’t appear to be the case in the UK with standard home contents insurance.

It's in the northern sky. I first saw it at 8pm, it was still the same an hour later. I can't see the northern sky clearly where I am now, but it's coming up to 1am and I can still see a red glow in the same place (it's more pinky red than the photo shows).

Any idea what it could be? I'm assuming it's not a natural phenomenon given it hasn't moved or changed. I'm reminded of that tomato factory incident, but I don't know of any tomato factories in the area.

Edit: solved. It was coming from Spurs stadium and is probably lights to speed up grass growth.

Everyone needs a Bob in their life, but few of us are that fortunate.

Quick question for the group.

Have you had issues recently with deliveries being missed, arriving late, or even going missing altogether?

I’m researching this problem before building anything and trying to understand how frustrating the current delivery system really is for people. I’m especially interested in what usually happens next waiting days, going to a depot, rebooking, etc.

If you’ve got 2 minutes, I’ve put together a short, anonymous survey to collect real experiences for some personal research:

Happy to share the results back once I’ve gathered enough responses.

I can't bloody shift it! I had the worst of it a couple of weekends ago and every time I feel better, the next day I feel terrible again. A blocked nose is meaning I get fuck all sleep and I keep feeling extremely exhausted.

Next year I'm definitely getting the jab!

I was talking with some colleagues today and they mentioned that they gave up their saturday orchestra for various reasons.

  1. (70s) Wanted to listen to Little House on the Prarie radio show
  2. (80s) Wanted to watch Thunderbirds
  3. (90s, me) Wanted to watch Power Rangers.

I'm just wondering if this is a common theme
